Latex is a natural material that is mostly extracted from the bark of the Hevea Brasiliensis tree. It is a milky and viscous liquid, an ecological and recyclable material, with natural characteristics such as elasticity, durability and hygiene that make it suitable for various uses. The collection of the latex is carried out when the plant has reached 5 years of age: spiral incisions are made in the bark of the trunk, a bowl is placed at the base of the trunk which collects the liquid that drips slowly. The incisions are revived every 48 hours to ensure a new flow of liquid. In contact with air, the liquid is altered and tends to coagulate. The lining is in pure cotton, available in various colors.
