ECOLOGICAL DIY felt Christmas tree complete with colorful attach and detach fabric decorations to hang on the wall. Felt is a fabric made from animal hair. It is not a fabric, but it is produced with the felting of the fibers. The material that composes it commonly is the carded wool of sheep, but any other type of hair can be used such as that of hare, rabbit, beaver, otter, goat and camel. It is also characterized by being warm, light, and waterproof. The fibers are wet with hot water, soaked in soap and manipulated (beaten, rubbed, pressed) until they get felted with mechanical and chemical processes.
